Cruising in West Bali

In life the thing we have to learn is how to be happy. This time I will share my journey to Pemuteran, one of the villages in Buleleng regency. The trip takes about four hours to five hours.

The starting line at Sidemen area and we pick our first stop at the El Lago Cafe. I recommend that you stop for a hot cup of coffee at one of the cafes in Kintamani, accompanied by a view of Mount Batur will make your journey more pleasant. Next you will be accompanied by a beautiful curve and quiet road for the rest of the trip.

For this trip, we will stay in our home for 3 days, Villa Semadhi . A four-room villa and a pool that directly faces the sea. It's very comfortable and spacious, as well as a strategic location for other tourist destinations!

 Let's explore it!

Here's the things to do in Buleleng!

 1. Cruise to Menjangan Island

With a 30-minute pass through a vast crossing you will arrive at Menjangan Island. The island is situated on a small 1,500-acre [175 ha] plain of west Bali national park. The island has no residents, only a few guards and stakeholders are in charge for Menjangan Temple. According to Palm Living there are 7 temple buildings honoring the island's

Lord, among them:

Pura Taman / Beji

Pesraman Agung Brahma Ireng / Ratu patih Keboiwa

Pagoda Agung Dewi Kwan Im / Goddess of Prosperity

Pendopo Ida Bhatara Dalem Gajah Mada / Hyang Wisnu Murti

Pura Sang Hyang Siwa Pasupati.

Pelinggih Ida Bhatara Lingsir Watu Renggong

Pelinggih Sang Hyang Ganesha.

The private nature of the scene will mesmerize you and you will also find a group of “Menjangan” which mean deer in local language.

 Continue with snorkeling

Underwater view with fish and coral, and crystalline sea water is a must thing to explore! You will be invited to several interesting spots to explore the island's underwater diversity, and this time you will also enjoy the views of Menjangan Temple from your snorkeling spot!

2. Pulaki temple and Melanting temple

Pulaki Temple

is located very close to our inn, only 3 minutes! Pulaki Temple is the Kahyangan Jagat Temple which is worshiped (sungsung) by all Hindus in Bali. As stated in Bali Jungle Trekking The temple is one of the six most holy temples of Bali. This temple is located on the flat plateau with rocky hills as a backdrop. Pulaki Temple is Balinese sea temple, which surrounds the island to form a chain of temples to protect the island.

The Melanting Temple

is not far from the Puluki Temple. Melanting Temple is one of the most important temples in the life of Balinese people. The Melanting Temple is functioned to worship the Melanting Goddess to invoke success and guidance, especially in economy business. Therefore, every market in Bali has a melanting temple to pray for the success of the business and say thank you.

The establishment of the Pulaki and Melanting temples have a history that is related to one another.

It's incomplete if you don't explore the beauty of the West Bali National Park forest, one of the conservation areas with nature that is still preserved. If we are lucky we can see black monkeys or petu in Balinese which are almost extinct. This area is intended for the protection of the Bali Starling population and other ecosystems such as coral reef ecosystems, mangrove ecosystems, coastal forest ecosystems and lowland to mountain forest ecosystems.

The last day you can enjoy the morning with sunrise as a beautiful breakfast. Trekking with easy terrain and beautiful scenery will make you satisfied to enjoy your morning. From the height of the hill we can see the view of the sunrise and also the expanse of the village and the sea that stretches wide! Beautiful nature and green trees will accompany your every step, very satisfying!

After a beautiful morning walk, you must visit Santai Warung for lunch. You can enjoy delicious and affordable Indonesian specialties.

For those of you who are thirsty for the natural beauty of the island of Bali, Buleleng will present a picture of a different part of Bali! The beauty of the island of the gods of Bali, is endless to be explored. There are many things we can do as connoisseurs of God’s creations.
